Visas

The Consul will be travelling to Uganda from 30/09 to 11/11, inclusive. The visa service will continue to operate, except for two periods of 5 days each. The dates will appear in early October. It is recommended to apply for the visa during September, as well as the legalization of documents.
Uganda is a member of the African Union (AU) and we help visitors to obtain their visas on time for the African countries listed below.

Angola, Benin, Botswana, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, Guinea Conakry, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia (KAZA Zambia+Zimbabwe+Botswana)

The visa is a personal procedure and, in case of incidents, the applicant must personally contact Immigration to resolve the problem or through this Consulate (see “Incidents”).
How to apply
- Contact the Consul through visas@consuladouganda.org (recommended 30-15 days) and explain your trip.
- Complete the standard visa form and send all the documentation by e-mail.
- The Consulate checks the documentation, applies for the visa, follows up and claims on your behalf.
- Receive your visa approval in your email before traveling.
